Year Turned Pro: 1998 was the year when I officially went pro. I got a monthly paycheck and was traveling on someone else's dime. It was nothing too serious though. My first pro contract actually read, "Chris agrees to get rad for a whole year".
Bike Specs: Kink "Farside" with Demolition and Duo parts. Like I said before, I'm 6'3” so my frame has a 21.25" top tube, big bars, and a high seat.
Other Stuff in Your Gear Bag: Tools, pads, dryer sheets (I use them to cover the smell of pads), stickers. I have a small collection of Dew Tour laminates (credentials) as well.

Favorite DC shoe: The Pure. I also love the Clocker shoe. I had that shoe when I was in high school… all black with white laces, worn so loose. I'm glad that shoe made a comeback. The "Rudy 2" was an early favorite as well.
Music: Ever-changing. Lately I've been listening to a lot of early to mid nineties rap, the cheesier the better.
Heroes: Marty Mcfly, Maverick
Favorite Movies: ‘80s teenage melodramas, especially, movies done by John Hughes and involving suburban Chicago teenagers.
Favorite Word: Walk. My dog goes nuts when I say that word.
Favorite Food: Peanut butter and banana sandwiches, eggs, and cereal.

Bio:
A favorite among his fellow riders, Chris Doyle has risen fast in the world of BMX. Sponsored only three years after he began riding, he went pro two years after that. At 6’3”, Chris’ stature gives him a unique, exceptionally smooth style on his bike, including some of the cleanest turndowns in the business.
