Check out the DC BMX team section for an interview with this year's X Games BMX Big Air Gold medalist, Chad Kagy. In the short piece Chad covers his new DC TeamWorks project, which is hitting shops now.
The first-ever DC BMX TeamWorks Collection was created to honor top members of the DC BMX team and their incredible riding legacies. The riders worked closely with DC designers to make the products 100% their own. From colors and materials to the sole patterns and cushioning systems, the premier BMX TeamWorks Collection is a perfect suit to each athlete's unique performance needs... and a fitting tribute to the still-evolving heritage of the DC BMX team.
Chad's BMX TeamWorks shoe, featuring his trademark green color scheme, is the first of four releases from the team. About his shoe Chad said, "It's kind of overwhelming at first to create your own TeamWorks shoe. You get to pick out exactly what you want... the exact shoe you want, the colorway you want, the technologies you want." Go here to see what else he had to say about it.
We've also posted an extended video clip of Kagy shredding all over So-Cal... go here to peep that.
Stay tuned... over the next three months we'll be dropping BMX TeamWorks shoes and apparel from Dave Mirra, Corey Bohan, and Allan Cooke.
