After dropping two projects over the last two months from Chad Kagy and then Dave Mirra, this month sees round three of the BMX TeamWorks program with a custom shoe created by Corey Bohan. Visit dcshoes.com/bmx for an interview and more info on the project from the five-time NORA Cup Dirt Rider of the Year.
The DC BMX TeamWorks Collection, a head-to-toe product pack, was created to honor the four top DC BMX riders and their incredible riding heritages. Riders choose the materials and colors to reflect their tastes, riding styles, and personalities.
About his project Corey said, “I have mentioned that I have a DC TeamWorks shoe to friends all over the world—plus family and hot chicks—and everyone’s been psyched and keen to see the products I came up with.”
About the specific design of the shoe, Corey continued, “For BMX, I think a medium-strength sole is important, and it has to be a completely flat sole. My personal preference is a shoe that’s pretty flexy and not too stiff. But, I also want the shoe to look good. I wear black most days and I’m really into a simple but slick looking shoe.”
