Last weekend the BMX team was on their game once again, with Corey Bohan, Chad Kagy, and Daniel Dhers all earning 2nd place finishes as the 2008 AST Dew Tour wrapped up in Orlando, FL. Peep the event-by-event recap:
Corey Bohan was once again consistent and smooth in his 2nd place dirt finish. Once again rocking tube socks and shorts, Corey floated through an opposite 360 tailwhip, an extended nothing to no-footed can-can, and a barspin to tailwhip to seal the deal. It's been a 1-2 battle all year between Chad and Jaime Bestwick, and Orlando was no different, with Chad coming in 2nd place this time. Chad nailed another great run that included a barspin to tailwhip, a double tailwhip over the channel, and a flatspin flair tailwhip.
Daniel Dhers, after winning four-straight Dew Tour events this year plus a BMX Park gold at X Games, had another great contest with a 2nd place finish in Orlando. Regular and invert 720s, double whips, and no-footed can-cans to late whips came on his first run, but on his second go he slipped a pedal and lost some speed, letting Nyquist slip into the lead and take the Orlando win. No matter though… Daniel had locked up his 2008 BMX Dew Cup before Orlando even started.
Congrats on the finishes guys!
