Here's your update on the current happenings and whereabouts of the guys on the pro BMX team:
Dave Mirra has just relocated his family back to his hometown of Syracuse, NY for the summer. Dave bought a new place and plans to use it as the home base for his travels between Dew Tour stops and rally races over the next 3 months. He's in Woodward, PA right now doing a demo for the youngsters arriving at camp, then he'll leave for Dew Tour Baltimore in a week.
Allan Cooke has been spending time in Greenville, NC doing all sorts of things. "Last week we had a marathon day," said Allan. "We went for a road bike ride, rock climbed in the morning, then rode motocross, spent the afternoon wake skating, and when it had cooled off we rode bikes at The Unit." The busy guy also found time to help Nerf shoot a commercial in Texas before leaving for Dew Tour Baltimore.
Daniel Dhers is headed to England to compete in Park and Mini Ramp at NASS/Braun Cruzer Tour. He'll make it back from that in time to shred the ramps at home in Woodward, PA for a few days before heading to Dew Tour.
Corey Bohan has been MIA since Australia's Red Bull dirt pipe contest. At one point about a week after the comp his voicemail said he was on an expedition in Antarctica with National Geographic. Anything's possible with Corey. Chances are you'll find him digging and riding at Lonnie Paxton's house near his home in Corona, CA prior to heading to Baltimore to compete in dirt at Dew Tour.
Edwin DeLaRosa has been riding everyday now that summer is in full swing in Brooklyn. He just got settled into his new place and is set to open his new bike shop in NYC soon. He's headed to Paris next week to film with his good friend and DC teammate Tom White.
Chris Doyle is back at home in Pittsburgh, PA digging and perfecting his local trails. He's filming for two video parts this year, including Anthem II, the long overdue follow up to the legendary Anthem video from days of yore. Chris is going to lay low and relax with his girlfriend and spend a lot of time on his bike before driving into Baltimore
for Dew Tour stop one.
In the past month Chad Kagy has been to China and back twice and been on a Florida road trip. Chad is currently riding at Woodward after getting back from the Red Bull Experiment in NYC this past week. Chad will compete tomorrow in a small vert event as a warm up to Dew Tour Baltimore the following week.
