Last weekend was a great weekend for DC BMX as three team riders took three podiums at the Dew Tour Portland stop. Daniel Dhers and Dave Mirra took 2nd and 3rd respectively in BMX Park, while Chad Kagy bagged another 2nd place finish.
In Park, Daniel qualified first to move to the finals, where he threw big tailwhips across a long quarter to quarter gap. He fell in his first run, but recovered and had a great second run that included a no handed 720, two double tailwhips, and a 270 double tailwhip over a hip. And Dave, who’s been running brake-less recently, brought his signature no-handed 360 flip plus 540 tailwhips and big 720's on the box jump. Always one to keep things smooth, Dave locked in that podium spot.
Over in BMX vert, Chad unleashed flair tailwhips, double whips, and other variations to lock in 2nd.
